In vitro cytogenotoxic effects were evaluated by employing battery of assays including Propidium iodide staining, Tunel assay, Micronuclei, DNA fragmentation and Comet assay on isolated splenocytes and their prevention by resveratrol (5 and 10 μM), catechin (10 and 20 μM), curcumin (5 and 10 μM) and α-tocopherol (5, 10 and 20 μM). ![]() Present study was aimed to investigate the cyto-genotoxic effects of flubendiamide and copper and ameliorative potential of certain natural phyotconstituent antioxidants. These xenobiotics interact individually or in combination with biological systems and act as carcinogen or produce other toxic effects including reproductive and degenerative diseases. Living organisms are frequently exposed to more than one xenobiotic at a time either by ingestion of contaminated food/fodder or due to house-hold practices, occupational hazards or through environment. The results obtained demonstrate the indicator significance of zooplankton, and the methodological approaches can be used to assess water bodies with the complex pollution located in other regions. PCA showed the priority influence of carbonates, bicarbonates, magnesium, temperature, nutrients, and heavy metals on zooplankton structure. Changes in the species composition and zooplankton abundance reflected the instability of external conditions. The water quality is influenced by the wastewater composition, chemical interactions, morphometric and physical-chemical conditions of the reservoir, pollution of the coastal area, and secondary water pollution. The content of Cd, Co, Pb, Zn, and Cr was low, Cu-0.012–0.036 mg/dm3. ![]() We used standard methods for the collection and analysis of data, as well as the principal components analysis (PCA) to assess the relationship between environmental and biological indicators. This work aims to assess the main factors that determined the variability of environmental and biological variables in wastewater reservoirs of the Right-Bank Sorbulak Canal system (South-Eastern Kazakhstan).
